Two Month Old Noah

Noah is two months old... and cuter than ever!

Noah turned two months old on September 22nd! He had his two month old check up today and is in top notch condition. He is weighing in at 12.15 lbs (a little above average... but hey... the kid likes to eat) and is 23 inches long.  "Noah is a little ahead of the game"  Dr. Copeland informed me... typically babies won't giggle as much/grasp objects or have as well of body control as Mr. Noah does. He also is very aware for a two month old.  Dr.Copeland said if his eye color does not change by six months then they will most likely stay blue. Maybe this will be one thing he gets from his Great Grandma Draney. We had fun at our doctor's appointment today... especially Noah... lets just say he is going to be a ladies man. All the nurses thought he was so cute and he did not hesitate on  giving them his flirtatious smile.

We are looking forward to Noah's progression this month, can't wait to see the new things he is soon to learn.

What Noah has been up to:

* Loves the song "Old McDonald had a Farm" - actually giggled the last time I put it on... I think he recognized the tune.

* Loves to smile at his Daddy... I know, it is soooo not fair!... what about Mom Noah?!?!?!?.... I can get a few smiles here and there... but there is just something about that silly Daddy of his.

* Won't let his Mom put him down... I think he is going to be a Mommas boy.

*Loves the car... or at least Josh and I do. Anytime we put him in it, he falls asleep within seconds. I must have been driving around a lot when I was pregnant with him or something.

* Set this boy under a ceiling fan... and that is all the entertainment he needs.

* Still loves his Celine Dion and Enya.. but we have branched out to a little Meatloaf, The Beatles and John Lennon.... he is going to be musically educated.

* Grasps onto his Mom's hair... this may be a problem once he gets a little stronger... but for now I am enjoying it.

* Has no problem beating up the giraffes that hang above his bassinet... my cousin Jamee called him Noah Balboa... and it has stuck ever since.

  1. That would be really neat if he had blue eyes like grandma :-)
