Trip to Vancouver

We were off to Vancouver!.... Washington that is, to be a part of my best friend Jackie's wedding. Not to mention any trip getting us out of Utah is always WELL NEEDED.  We got off on a shaky start being 2 mins late to the airport to check our bags (dang shuttle drivers and their patience with people who can't find a parking spot even if it is right in front of them!). We were worried the entire flight that we would not have our bags on our plane to find our nerves at ease as our bags were the first up at baggage pickup. I was so excited to be somewhere new and the excitement grew as I saw Jackie & Adam walking up. We were ready to start the fun with the combined bachelor/bachelorette party just hours away.

After putting the husband (Josh) and the soon to be husband (Adam) to work with the decorations I was ready to help Jackie with her bachelorette attire ( I know what you are thinking.... I was on a time crunch!).  However, they did prove themselves with their decorating skills.

Josh was my savior, he helped by cooking his famous pulled pork recipe as I threw together the potato salad (southern style).... and for desert you ask???? Well, a homemade penis and boob cake of course. A combined bachelor/bachelorette party would not have been right without it.

 We filled  a pinata full of fun stuff and had a good laugh watching the soon to be Nein's take a crack at it. Unsuccessful in their attempts to break the pinata open they handed the stick to Laurie who proved to be victorious.

The rest of the night we had a blast meeting new friends and catching up with our best buddies.

I could not wait until Saturday to be apart of my best friends special day and was honored to see her marry Adam the man of her dreams.
