Noah's First Thanksgiving

For Noah's first Thanksgiving we flew out to Utah to spend sometime with Grandpa and Grandma Weston. We were also excited for Noah to meet Aunt Randi, Uncle Chuck and Uncle Chase. We also got to catch up with our good friend Rodney and his cute son Leland.

We had a good time hanging out with family we have missed and can't wait to see them again soon.

Noah Turns Four Months Old!

Noah turned four months old on November 22nd. He is getting so big! Noah is actually in the 81 percentile for his height being 26 inches. He weighed in at 16.2 lbs and has also started to teeth. We were so excited that Noah can start eating solids as well, so far he has tried carrot and pea baby food and loved them. Not to mention the yams and pumpkin pie he tried at Gramma and Grandpa Weston's house.

It seems like Noah is learning something new all the time, he can now roll over, sit up with little assistance and is talking (cooing) up a storm. He loves to laugh and smile.... specially at himself in the mirror. Noah loves to watch the history channel, Mickey Mouse Club (the cartoon) and his Daddy play the PlayStation... he is going to be just one of the guys.

"I Love You to the Moon and Back".

Noah's Best Buddy... Monkey!

Noah has learned to roll over, however he is still trying to master this skill.

We are enjoying the holiday season and can't wait until Noah's first Christmas. Here are some Christmas photo's we have been working on.

Happy Birthday Josh!

Sunday was Josh's birthday, we had a great birthday weekend spent together as a family with baby Noah. We had our friends The Nein's come over with baby Layla for some yummy Navajo Tacos on Saturday night. Jackie also brought her famous bean dip that was simply delicious. We had fun catching up and letting the guys get some Modern Warfare 3 time in on the playstation. I must have it easy... all Josh wanted was some good homemade food, a gamer night with his buddy Adam and who could forget the Baskin and Robbins ice cream cake he has been hinting at all year.

Noah helped Daddy blow out his candles and make a birthday wish!

What he had been waiting for...

Two happy guys!

We also went to McMenamis on the Columbia for dinner the following night. It was a nice little restaurant with a great view.

6 LBS

6 lbs down and counting this week. It would have been a higher number, but that pesky Halloween got in the way with its candy and smores!

Not bad though when this is what only ONE pound looks like.

So now that Halloween is over and we are back on track, we are looking forward to some more healthy recipes. Here is what we are going to try this week, check out these recipes they look pretty tasty.

Chicken Parmesan Wraps

I am so excited to try these.. maybe a little less cheese though to save more calories. Take a look at the link below for the full recipe, they are super easy and fast to make.

Stuffed zucchini boats.

With this recipe you would want to do some "swapping" I would either use light bacon or substitute it with turkey bacon. Also using low-fat sour cream is going to save you a lot of empty calories. See recipe below:

Healthy - Chicken Teriyaki looks delicious!

Yumm can't wait to try this

Low Calorie Pumpkin Smash

Can't forget about my husband and his snacks :)

Hope you try these a long with me and remember this little helpful tip: Always eat your veggies!

Happy Halloween

Noah's First Halloween

Noah had a great first Halloween, although we did not go trick or treating he still got to show off his costume a little.  Our Halloween lasted all weekend long. Starting on Saturday we had our friends the Nein's come over with baby Layla for some good food and fun. Sunday was our pumpkin carving day, I swore it took all day long... but was worth every cooked pumpkin seed. Monday was our day to relax, we played Saw the video game for a little spook on Halloween as well.  We can't wait for next year when Noah will be able to enjoy the holiday a little more.

Noah's main costume was a white rabbit, but he also had a monkey costume that we had fun taking photo's of him in.

Some photo's of our weekend:
